Olhanense was very close to winning, but ended up giving the tie to a ball, in a game with Marítimo, played in Madeira. Madeira tied the match after regulation time, in a goal in which it is doubtful whether the Marítimo Fidélis player would be offside.

Once again, Olhanense showed how to suffer, with goalkeeper Ricardo being the figure of the team. But, unlike what had happened a week ago, in the game against Paços de Ferreira, at Estádio Algarve, it was the Algarve team that ended the match in numerical advantage.

Olhanense's goal came from a penalty, in the 29th minute, with captain Rui Duarte taking on the responsibility of scoring.

Marítimo was looking for a draw, but was bumping into the inspiration of veteran Ricardo, goalkeeper who has also shone in the national team's goal.

The ball only entered the goal of the Algarve after 90 minutes of play, following a free-kick. The goal was attributed to Derlei, who confirmed a shot by Fidélis (already in goal?), following a free-kick on the edge of Olhanense's area.

Despite having been close to bringing three points, the result that the team led by Abel Xavier brings from Madeira is far from disappointing, as it is the first time that the Olhão team has managed to score at Marítimo's home. With this result, Olhanense was in 9th place in the I League, when three games of the championship have already been played.
