Enrollment for the “Tavira-Active Holidays” program, an initiative of the Tavirense municipality that “enables dozens of young people to occupy their free time performing socially useful activities”, will open on Wednesday, July 3rd. The activities take place between the 8th and July and the 2nd of September.
Young people can choose two different modalities, one with a shorter duration, of three hours a day for ten days, and a longer one, of six hours a day for 20 days.
«In the long-term modality, each young participant will be entitled to a scholarship of 2 euros per hour, which is equivalent to 240 euros at the end of the program. In the short term, participation is voluntary, with no place for granting a scholarship», revealed the Câmara de Tavira, which promotes the program, in a press release.
To register, interested parties must fill in the registration form. on the municipality's website and deliver it to the Irene Rolo Building, Rua da Liberdade, No. 60, in Tavira, or send it via email to the address [email protected].
