Class of the International School of the Algarve wins 1st prize in the HPA competition

The 4th year class of the 1st cycle, from the National Section of the International School of the Algarve, won a children's competition organized by the Hospital Particular do Algarve. The contest was dedicated to the theme “Health and the Environment Hand in Hand” and asked participants to submit work made with recycled materials and in 3D.

The hospital launched the challenge to several schools in the region and the 1st Prize was won by the 4th year students of that School, with a work elaborated during the Plastic Expression classes, under the guidance of Professor Luísa Bravo.

Students received a check for 375 euros to spend on Art supplies for the school, and each received a ticket to Zoomarine.

The results were announced yesterday at the Hospital Particular do Algarve. The competing works will be exhibited for a month at Hospital São Camilo, in Portimão, and at Clínica Particular do Algarve, in AlgarveShopping, Guia.
