"Entre Aspas" will once again take to the stage this Sunday, in Olhão, 20 years after the release of the band's first album. June 16 is the day of the municipality of Olhão and will now go down in the history of the local musical group, the Algarve pop/rock band that achieved greater national projection, with the return show scheduled for 22 pm at Jardim Pescador Olhanense.

Viviane, Tó Viegas and company joined forces again, after putting «Entre Aspas» on a break in 2005 to enter other musical adventures. The Camaleão Azul project and the solo career of Viviane's vocalist are examples.

Now, in addition to returning to the stage, «Entre Aspas» will release a new album, a «Best Of» from the last 20 years. The album will be released with tomorrow's concert and includes a DVD of a live concert by the Algarve band.

The two elements that were at the origin of the band, in 1990, Viviane and Tó Viegas (Nuno Filhó, another reference of the band, joined later), were the guests of the radio program «Impressões» on Wednesday. The two elements of Entre Aspas spoke about this new adventure, but also about the past.

“Above all, this is being a lot of fun. Even because we missed the other elements of the band, Filipe Valentim, Rui [Freire] and Filhó, it's been a reunion of friends», considered Viviane. "I think Olhão will be an excellent starting point for these concerts," he added.

This will be the first in a series of concerts, which will take them to various venues. Among them, the three cities to which «Entre Aspas» have the greatest connection: Olhão, Tavira and Faro. «For us, it makes sense to celebrate 20 years in these three cities», illustrated Tó Viegas.

And if in the final stretch, the Algarvian band bet on a more acoustic sound, the concerts it will give to celebrate 20 years «will be completely electric». “It's the electric version. Guitars and zumba!”, revealed, laughing, Tó Viegas.

The «Entre Aspas» consider themselves from Olhão, despite the strong links to Tavira and Faro, but are recognized nationally as a band from the Algarve capital. Something that has to do with the band's genesis and the funny story that gave rise to its name.

«We had a concert scheduled at the Morbidus Bar [in Faro]. Paulo, the manager at the time, asked us the name. And we had everything, the songs and the rest, but not the name. And we said to him: Look, put some quotes in there, which we will say when we have a name. However, look, it was like that», revealed Tó Viegas.
