The women's U19 basketball team, Portimonense Mc Donalds, will compete tomorrow, the 18th, in Barreiro, for the final of the U19 Women's National Cup.
The Portimão club considers this final as a «unique and extremely important feat that takes place in a historic sporting season for the sport of this Algarve club».
«Portimonense, along with Sport Lisboa e Benfica, a club with a different budget and size, are the only clubs that have all their basketball training teams in national competitions», he adds.
The route traced this season and the results obtained are «the result of the technical rigor with which the basketball professionals of Portimonense Sporting Clube face training on a daily basis, as well as faithfully reflecting the dedication and commitment of the athletes and their families».
The 2012/2013 sporting season will close with the 1st Specialized Basketball Campus of Portimonense Sporting Clube.
