This month's Beta Talk will bring together, next Tuesday, April 16, two young people for whom the word entrepreneurship has no secrets and takes on multiple contours every day, in yet another sharing of successful experiences and ideas, certainly very inspiring .

From 19 pm, at Café Concerto do TEMPO – Portimão Municipal Theater Ricardo Alves Mariano (SW- Success Work) and Daniel Machado (Ecoceanus) will share their journeys, in an informal and relaxed atmosphere that reflects the Beta Talk spirit.

Ricardo Alves Mariano is a young man from Farense who is a finalist in the Marketing and Advertising Management course, having already in his professional resume three successful companies, among which the temporary employment company stands out. SW - Success Work, of which he is a founding partner and currently ranks 32nd in the ranking of SMEs in the Algarve, in addition to being distinguished as “PME Leader”.

This young entrepreneur full of vision and ambition is only 27 years old, but a lot to tell, and promises not to stop there, being one of the biggest employers in the south of the country, as well as coordinator of the Algarve delegation of the Support Center for the Homeless and leader of a party youth.

Born in Portimão, Daniel Machado has a degree in Marine Biology and Fisheries and a master's degree in Ecology and has always been linked to the sea, founding in 2008 the ecoceanus, an ecotourism company that develops and implements innovative tourism products, from wildlife watching and diving to private parties and sunset cruises.

With a path that includes training, company development, underwater archeology and marine research, it currently dynamizes and coordinates a pioneering project of diving with sharks, and in the near future it plans to travel around the world on a sailing catamaran.

As usual, participation is completely free, although registration is required. http://beta-talk_abrilportimao2013.eventbrite.com/, with the wine-break being up to whoever comes, so participants are invited to bring wine (or juice) and snacks to share.

Since good ideas deserve a toast, it is already assured by the support of local winemakers Quinta do Morgado da Torre, Herdade dos Pimentéis and Quinta da Penina.

Between the two talks with the guests, and before the wine-break, there will be a Beta-Pitch Corner so that participants can present their ideas and – who knows – find clients, partners or investors.

This Beta Talk has the support of ETIC-Algarve and the media partnership of “Sul Informação”, with the collaboration of the University of Algarve through CRIA – Algarve Regional Center for Innovation/Division of Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer, ANJE – National Association of Young Entrepreneurs, NERA – Business Association of the Algarve Region, university radio RUA FM , APGICO – Portuguese Association for Creativity and Innovation GAIM – Academic Office for Research and Marketing and also by Inesting, in addition to the Algarve Employment page in terms of dissemination.

Portimão is part of the national network of cities associated with Beta-i – Association for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, which also on the 16th of this month promotes Beta Talks in Lisbon, Porto, Évora, Coimbra, Oeiras and Ponta Delgada.
