Olhanense, despite the strike warning for the next round, was this Saturday for Aveiro to beat Beira-Mar by 0-1, a minimal but precious advantage against a direct opponent in the fight for maintenance.

With this victory in the 24th round of the League, Olhanense overtook Gil Vicente and left the relegation places.

The winning goal for the Algarvians was scored with 10 minutes to go, by Lucas Souza, who concluded in the best way a quick counterattack.

Yesterday morning, after, the day before, the Players' Union had delivered a strike notice for journey 25, due to salaries in arrears since December, Olhanense's entourage did not leave, as planned, for Aveiro, demanding a meeting with club and House presidents.

The entourage ended up leaving just last night, but without any guarantee of receiving at least one of the three months' wages in arrears.

Isidoro Sousa, president of Olhanense, needed to raise 180 euros to pay a month's wages, but he couldn't do it. Even so, the players decided to go to Aveiro to face Beira-Mar, in a match whose victory ended today by smiling to the Algarve.
