Rodrigo Leão performs at Teatro das Figuras, in Faro, on March 2, Saturday, at 21:30 pm, in what will be one of the first concerts of the “Songs Tour 2013” tour. It will have as special guest the Australian Scott Matthew.
With this concert, Rodrigo Leon takes to the stage his latest work “Songs (2004 – 2012)”, an album that brings together songs sung in English, which, since “Cinema”, “A Mãe” and “A Montanha Mágica”, have punctuated his discography, and three new ones, namely «Incomplete», which can be heard and seen in the video clip below, precisely sung by ScottMatthew.
In addition to ScottMatthew, the album also features musicians such as Joan as Police Woman, Beth Gibbons and Stuart A. Staples.
Rodrigo Leão is one of the most recognized contemporary Portuguese composers, both indoors and out. His music has traveled all over the world having received applause in the most different latitudes: throughout Europe, but also in the Far East or America.
On this tour, Rodrigo Leão once again promises to surprise those who have been following him closely or who now want to embark on this exciting adventure.
In the concert at Teatro das Figuras, Rodrigo Leão (Keyboards) will be accompanied by his usual band, which includes Celina da Piedade (Accordion, voice), Viviena Toupikova (Violin), Bruno Siva (Arc guitar), Carlos Gomes (Cello) , Frederico Gracias (Drums) and João Eleutério (Electric guitar).
Tickets cost 25 euros for the 1st and 2nd audience and can be purchased in the usual places, as well as through the Municipal Theater website of Faro.
