The shops in the Historic Center of Vila Real de Santo António host a series of integrated promotion initiatives, between February 28 and March 3, preparing to receive the hundreds of Spaniards who usually visit the city on the occasion of the holiday «Day of Andalusia» (28 February).
The measure is also intended to mark the end of the official sales season, to promote traditional commerce and to guarantee the animation of the city's historic centre.
During these four days, the António Aleixo Cultural Center receives the I Outlet Textile / VRSA Stocks Fair. The event has the participation of several VRSA exhibitors and merchants, who will take advantage of the opportunity to sell their products and prepare the new collections.
The Stocks Fair will go beyond the Cultural Centre's doors, involving around three dozen stores in the historic center that will join the event as "adherents", through allusive advertising.
At the same time, the XNUMXst Traditional Trade Fair of VRSA will take place at Praça Marquês de Pombal. Here, products such as sweets, dried fruits, ceramics, vegetables and taverns will be available.
The fair will be open every day, between 9:30 am and 20:00 pm, and includes a handicraft exhibition organized by the Cultural Association of VRSA.
In the same area, there will be carousels for the youngest ones, as well as street entertainment. On the agenda is the performance of the VRSA Cultural Association's Folklore Group, the performance of the Dance Club «The Golden Age» and the presentation of a dance performance by the students of the VRSA Secondary School.
The Textile Outlet/Stocks Fair and the XNUMXst Traditional Trade Fair are jointly organized by the Municipality of VRSA, the municipal company Sociedade de Gestão Urbana (SGU) of VRSA, the local delegation of the Association of Commerce and Services of the Algarve Region (Acral) and the VRSA Cultural Association.
