Sérgio Conceição may be leaving Olhanense, due to "internal difficulties" that he preferred not to specify. After the defeat of Olhanense, this Wednesday, at Estádio José Arcanjo, against Benfica, the coach of the Algarve team appeared in the press room visibly upset and announced that today he will have a meeting with the direction of the club to decide its future.

The Olhanense coach said he was "very discouraged" and denounced "many difficulties in working."

Despite not having identified the problems that led him to «not feel the pleasure he felt last year and earlier this year» when he went to work, he made it clear that «has nothing to do» with the recent controversy between the the club's board of directors and Supervisory Board.

“When we wake up in the morning and feel like going to work, things go much better. Right now I don't feel it. Tomorrow [today, Thursday] I will talk to the management about what I have to say», he said.

The young coach, ex-international A luso, also revealed that his disappointment is deeper. “I feel sad and disillusioned by everything I've been through as a coach. And that's a bad sign," as he has only been the head coach for two years, he said.

Sérgio Conceição took the opportunity to make it clear that he has no problems with his players, that he believes that they do their job every day and that they do not necessarily share his disappointment. «Just see the response they gave on the field today», he recalled, referring to the game with Benfica, in which the team from Olhão came to have an advantage and in which it gave a good reply to the Lisbon club.

“We are demanding and we train seriously”, he guaranteed. "But sometimes, here in Olhão it seems that we are in Morocco and we are less respected for that," he said.
