The two seriously injured in the aftermath of the tornado that caused damage in Lagoa and Silves on Friday are still hospitalized in the Hospital de Faro.
The passage of the tornado in those two counties caused 13 injuries, of which two were seriously injured.
There were also people homeless, due to the damage caused by the very strong winds. In Lagoa, four families were temporarily accommodated by the social services of the municipality and Social Security, in Santa Casa da Misericórdia, in Estômbar, and in a house belonging to the City Council, until their homes, which were partially destroyed, are recovered.
