Farense (II Division – South Zone) will host Beira Mar (I League) in the 4th round of the Portuguese Cup, while Olhanense will go to Paços de Ferreira to face their opponent in the main league to try to move to the next stage.

At first sight, the task seems to be more difficult for men from Faro, as they will dispute the qualification for the 5th round against a team from the Portuguese football main league.

But in these things of the Portuguese Cup, you never know what will happen between the four lines, especially as the season is going well for Farense, who are in 2nd place in their class (South Zone of the II Division), while the Beira Mar is the last of the I Liga, where this season has not yet managed to win a single game.

As for Olhanense, who is 12th in the top level of national football, they will face a direct opponent, who occupies the 6th position.

The draw for the Portuguese Cup, which took place today at the FPF headquarters in Lisbon, was defined that Benfica will travel to Moreira de Cónegos to face Moreirense, while FC Porto will go to Madeira to face Nacional da Madeira.

After having eliminated Sporting from the Cup of Portugal, Moreirense receives again a great Portuguese football on November 18, when Benfica travels to Moreira de Cónegos.

The draw thus dictated four matches between Liga Zon Sagres teams. FC Porto will travel to Madeira to face Nacional, while Moreirense, who beat Sporting in the last round, will host Benfica. Olhanense will visit Paços de Ferreira and the meeting between “Vitória” is scheduled for Setúbal.

The title holder, Académica de Coimbra, will receive the formation of Penalva do Castelo from the 3rd Division.
