The Invisible Cities Festival dedicated to Barcelona, ​​which is taking place at the Municipal Theater of Portimão (Tempo), continues between October 24th and 26th with a film cycle dedicated to Ventura Pons, the most critically acclaimed Catalan director.

Thus, from October 24th to 26th, the films “Morir (o no)”, “Barcelona (un mapa)” and “Any di Gràcia” will be screened, always at 21 pm in the Small Auditorium and with tickets for two euros. The films are spoken in Catalan, subtitled in Castilian.

Ventura Pons (Barcelona, ​​1945) is the most commercially and critically successful film director in Catalonia.

With more than a dozen films in the Catalan language, Pons maintains an admirable creative rhythm producing his films through his own production company Els Films de la Rambla, founded in 1985.

On the 24th and 25th, from 19 pm to 00 pm, a contemporary/flamenco dance workshop will also take place within the scope of the Festival, in the Rehearsals do Tempo room, led by choreographer Maria Rovira and two dancers who are part of the company Transit Dansa.

This Catalan company will then present on Saturday, the 27th, at 21 pm, the contemporary dance and flamenco show «Somorrostro».
