The first audio guides for monuments in the Algarve were launched in the castles of Paderne and Aljezur, on the 28th and 29th of September, as part of the European Heritage Days, in an initiative of the regional direction of Culture.
Os audio guides, available for now only in Portuguese, can be downloaded from the website of the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve and from the pages of the Councils of Albufeira (Paderne) and Aljezur and also from the Association for the Defense of the Historical-Cultural Heritage of Aljezur.
With texts by Natércia Magalhães, they were officially launched with two visits to those national monuments staged by singer and actor Afonso Dias.
