The show «Conta-me Outros Fados», produced by Al-Masrah Teatro de Tavira, takes to the stage at Teatro Lethes, in Faro, from October 31st to November 3rd at 21:30 pm, and on Sunday, the 4th, at 16:00 pm.This show – which brings together music from various sources (fado, samba, flamenco), dance, theater – is part of Tavira Ilimitada's program in 2012, represented this movement together with the piece Lampedusa by Susana C. Gaspar, in the campaign From One Thing for Cultural Diversity and Inclusion, by the United Nations Alliance for Civilizations.
The piece investigates the similarities that exist in human feelings, and shows the African and Arab origins that some of the Ibero-American songbook carries.
