The Municipality of Albufeira has been running, for the 4th consecutive year, a photography competition which aims to promote the discovery of the natural values of the municipality. Works can be delivered until September 30th.
The competition, which has been running since the beginning of January, is open to anyone interested in photography, professionals or amateurs, Portuguese and foreigners, with no limit on the number of photographs per participant aged 18 or over.
Competitors can send their work, which must be in color, in JPG format, with a maximum size of 150 KB, until the next 30th of September.
The photos will be published on the Albufeira Beaches website at www.cm-albufeira.pt for public voting, in a first phase, between 1 and 30 November. Then, between the 10th and 14th of December, they will be evaluated by a jury consisting of a representative of the Municipality, a representative of a hotel unit in the Algarve and a photography technician from the municipality. Voting results will be published by the end of December.
