Close your eyes, open your heart and share the passion for dancing and, in this case, for tango. That's what we'll be able to do next September 15, from 21 pm, when the show of Tango Milonguero, by the Fabian Carbone Trio, fills the stage of the Municipal Auditorium of Olhão.

“Milonguero” is a way of being, feeling and saying tango in the most genuine way; is a felt way of playing tango and dancing it, with origins in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

In this show in Olhão, this concept is transmitted through a defined musical style, which permeates the stage posture of “Milonguero” through interpretation, choreography and clothing. The singer Patrícia Nora is accompanied by Fabian Carbone on the bandoneón (a kind of concertina), Rocio Terán on the piano and Virgínia Gonzalez on the violin, while the dancing is in charge of the dancers Mariano and Alejandra and Gonzalo and Carolina.

The group tells us the history of this musical genre, today a heritage of humanity, recreating its spirit from the Guardia Vieja to the decade of Oro, passing through many of its great conductors, with their special tributes to Carlos Gardel and Astor Piazzolla.

Tango consists of a variety of styles like the Canyengue Tango e tango orillero. However, most of these styles are no longer danced. They are simply part of the evolution of Tango Argentino. Currently, Argentine Tango consists of: Salon Tango, Tango Milonguero, Nuevo Tango, Show Tango or Tango Fantasía.

Argentine tango dancers also practice two other related dances: Vals (walt) and Milonga (dancing in the Milongas of Buenos Aires). Tango parties are also called Milonga. From here comes the tradition of tango milonguero that on the night of September 15th we will be able to watch in Olhão.
