The deadline for receiving photos from the Digital Photography Contest “Lagos é Natural” is running until September 10th. The contest is an initiative integrated in the Blue Flag Campaign, which the City Council of Lagos promotes annually in the summer months.
This activity, which is now in its sixth edition, has as its main objectives to disseminate and enhance the county's environmental and natural heritage, to make people aware of the observation of Nature and to experiences based on the interaction and enjoyment of this important heritage, encouraging its preservation .
The themes: “Lagos is Natural”, “Caring for the Environment” and “Sustainable Tourism” invite both the exploration of the coast of Lagos and its heritage, and the recording of the natural values that characterize and value the various regions of the country, depending on the chosen theme.
Participants are entitled to prizes sponsored by some of the most important hotel companies in the county. The prizes are, for each theme, a weekend for two people to be awarded by the companies sponsoring this Campaign: Marina Club Lagos, Tivoli Hotels & Resorts, Vila Galé Hotels, Cascade Resort and Yellow Meia Praia.
The deadline for receiving photos (to be sent by email) has already started and ends on September 10, 2012.
