Whoever buys, until the end of August, his ticket for the World Superbike Championship, to be held from 21st to 23rd September at the Autodromo do Algarve, has a 50% discount on the purchase of the second one.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve will once again host another round of the Superbike World Championship. It will be the penultimate round of the season, when title decisions are raging.

Until the Portuguese journey, three events are still scheduled: Silverstone, Moscow and Nurburgring.

Although there are five races to go in the Championship, the favorites for the title are already starting to draw. If, in 2011, Carlos Checa (Ducati) was the one who dealt the cards, this year luck seems to have returned to Max Biaggi (Aprilia), who at this time leads.

But on the heels are his compatriot Marco Melandri (BMW) and Tom Sykes (Kawasaki).

In Supersport, Kenan Sofuoglu (Kawasaki) winner of the Championship twice in 2007 and 2010, is again in the lead, but he is close behind Sam Lowes, one of Parkalgar's drivers in the Championship in 2011.

The Turk has already won in the Algarve and will want to repeat the feat, but Lowes will certainly give him a fight, especially as he knows the Portimão track well.

Despite being away from Supersport this season, Miguel Praia will enter the track in this round, were it not for his favorite race and the one he disputes in front of his public. The objective of the Portuguese driver is to return to a Championship that he has always liked and to manage to make a good race giving a good spectacle to the public.

On track, the public can also see the Superstock 1000, Superstock 600, KTM European Junior Cup and also the Portuguese Superbike Championship.
