The photographic exhibition “A little medieval look”, by António Guerreiro, opens on the 25th of July, at 19 pm, at the Igreja da Misericórdia de Silves.
The exhibition is promoted by the Municipality of Silves and can be visited from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 13:00 pm and from 14:00 pm to 17:00 pm (except holidays).
The exhibition invites the visitor to “medieval” through the Medieval Fair of Silves in the “search for faces and expressions that suggest experiences of bygone times”. It is through this “little medieval look” that the author seeks to “enhance details, purging from the spellings of light the crowds that intersect between the fair and the party, and particularize the abundance of colors, sounds and looks that fall in love with the Medieval Fair of Silves”.
Born in Silves, António Guerreiro holds a PhD in Mathematics Education from the School of Education and Communication of the University of Algarve. In the field of photography, he has participated in several solo and group exhibitions in the Algarve region. It was also awarded numerous awards and honorable mentions in this area.
