The Lua Choir (the chamber choir of Ideias do Levante), directed by Maria Saramago, participated in the Encuentro de Coros de Peniche, on the 7th of July, at the Igreja de S. Pedro.
The Stella Maris Choir from Peniche invited the Lua de Lagoa Choir (Algarve) and the Christus Ensemble Choir from Cascais, for the show that closed the choir season.
This meeting had the support of the Parish of Peniche, the City Council of Peniche, 102FM and the newspaper “A Voz do Mar”.
This participation resulted from an invitation made by the Coral Stella Maris, a choir that Maria Saramago has already directed in the past.
The conductor congratulated herself on the performance of the Lua Choir and thanked all the kindness given by the audience, choirs, instrumentalists, supporters and organization.
