At the last executive meeting, the City Council approved the new general conditions for the public tender for the concession of the exploration of the four pavilions of the Frente Ribeirinha/Avenida dos Descobrimentos car park.
Futurlagos – Entrepreneurial Entity for Development, as holder of the concession and exploitation of commercial spaces in the coverage of the Frente Ribeirinha car park, presented, at the Chamber meeting last Wednesday, the document containing the new general conditions for the public tender for the concession of the operation of the four pavilions located on the surface of the Avenida dos Descobrimentos car park.
In the proposal now approved, and which contains more appealing and favorable conditions for competitors, the base value of the monthly financial compensation to be paid to Futurlagos is set in the amount of 2.000 euros in the case of beverage establishments and the value of 1.000 euros in the case of the stationery/tobacco shop.
The base value of the concession was also fixed, which is 100 euros, in the case of beverage establishments, and 50 euros, in the case of another establishment.
The concessionaires will also be responsible for all works inside the kiosks.
This project for a new public space for the city is intended for activities related to recreational leisure, drinks (without catering) and also, albeit in a complementary way, for the organization of occasional events.
The area of this landscaping intervention on the riverfront will consist of three sets of pavilions that each include a bar and a space/equipment for exhibitions, in addition to a fourth autonomous building for a sales point.
The object of this competition is thus related to the attribution of a right to occupy the public space, with the installation and operation of three pavilions where beverage establishments with a terrace area and a stationery/tobacco shop pavilion or other activity of a similar nature will function . The concession will be granted for a period of 30 years.
The City Council decided to submit to the Municipal Assembly of Lagos the request for authorization so that Futurlagos can promote the launch of this new competition.
