Between 25 and 29 June, the Budo Kamp 2012 “Cidade de Portimão | Youth Hostels” and the Budo Kup “30 Years Externato Ti-Té”, which will involve more than 200 young Portuguese, Spanish, Danish, English and Scottish judokas.
This summer internship, which takes place for the third consecutive year in Portimão, has as its main objective to promote this sporting activity and provide young athletes with the participation in a quality action, under the motto "Forming champions for life", being guaranteed the presence of several children from the “Formar Campeões para a Vida” Judo Blocks, a civic and sports program developed by the Nuno Delgado Judo School in elementary schools.
Associated with the civic movement Achieve Collect & Give Back, which was recently awarded the Social Inclusion 2012 award by the president of the European Union of Judo, the initiative is the result of a partnership between the Judo Clube de Alvor – Tité, the Judo School of Nuno Delgado , Portimão City Council, Youth Hostels and the Algarve Judo District Association.
