Loulé Library promotes activities for children during the summer holidays

The Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen Municipal Library, in Loulé, carries out, from 2 July to 24 August, various activities aimed at children and young people in the municipality of Loulé, during school holidays.

This year, there will be two cycles of activities. In July, “Summer Workshops” will be held, for participants from 8 to 12 years old, with the themes Junior Informatics, Let's make a Flannelgraph, Let's make a Book of Tales and Let's Illustrate a Story.

In August, the “Library on Vacation” will take place, for participants aged between 6 and 12 years, with the following activities – Nature, Illustration of Tales, Puppets and Plaster Painting.

The actions take place in the morning, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and in the afternoon, from 14:30 pm to 17:30 pm.

Each activity is limited to a maximum number of 12 participants and costs 5 euros. At the end a certificate of participation will be awarded.

In addition to occupying their free time, it is intended with these activities that children and young people learn something and can develop their innate skills in a recreational, dynamic and educational way.
