The Quarteira BMX track is the venue chosen for the final of the Liberty Seguros Portugal Cup, which will take place this Saturday, June 2, at 14 pm. The growing competitiveness of the national BMX is evident in the classifications, since the result of the Cup remains undefined in all categories.

It is expected that the emotion will be particularly intense in the main categories – elite, juniors and cadets -, where the punctual differences, at the entrance to the decisive stage, are more scarce and prone to turnarounds.

After the Cup winners have been selected, the consecration arrives the following day, albeit in the form of a new competitive challenge, the fourth BMX Portuguese Open, which will also take place in Quarteira, at 9:00 am.

In regional calendars, the road aspect stands out, with three races in two days. On Saturday, the Jerumelo Circuit, the first competition of the Lisbon Trophy for cadets and juniors.

Still in the vicinity of Lisbon, the XXIX Circuito de Mato-Cheirinhos takes place on Sunday. At 9:30 am the school tests begin, with the afternoon reserved for the cadet races (14:00) and junior races (15:45).

To the North, it is in Ramalde, Gondomar, that the northern junior and cadet teams will be concentrated. The 17th FC Ramalde Cycling Prize takes place on Sunday afternoon. The youngest depart at 15:30, with the junior competition scheduled for 16:45.

Competition mountain biking also finds space in this week's regional agenda. Chão de Lagoa receives, from 10:30 am on Sunday, the third competition of the Madeira Regional Championship of XCO.

On the same day, at 14:30 pm, at the Equestrian Center of Joane, Famalicão, the fifth event of the Regional do Minho de XCO. In Sete Cidades, Azores, the second DHI Interjovem Regional Cup will be played on Saturday morning.

The Schist Villages of Sarzedas, Almaceda and Martim Branco will be crossed by participants in the Castelo Branco X100 Marathon, a 100 km challenge scheduled for Sunday morning.

The seventh Marathon Rota do Baixo Mondego/Vitalis/Diário de Coimbra takes place on the same date, featuring two alternative routes, one with 60 kilometers and the other with 40 kilometers, both starting and ending in Abrunheira. Also in the chapter of marathons and on the same day, the VIII Bila Biker's Cidade de Vila Real Marathon should be noted.

This weekend ends the Mini Tour to Portugal in Cycle Tourism, which began on the 25th of May, but the cycle tourism activity is not limited to this event. On Sunday, you will ride 55 kilometers in the XII Classic Portimão – Foia.
