Between May 11th and May 19th, the Portimão Tourism Office hosts an Exhibition of Regional Products from Mexilhoeira Grande, where winemaking, regional sweets, beekeeping and crafts deserve special honors.
Under the motto, "Come and discover the flavors and taste the traditional knowledge", eight producers will be represented at the event, in a typical room ambience that can be visited from 09:30 am to 19:00 pm, allowing visitors to purchase the products on display and watch demonstrations around the alive.
The initiative aims to make known the parish of Mexilhoeira Grande, a millenary land with significant territorial and human wealth, contributing to the dissemination and revitalization of some of its economic activities.
In two moments, the exhibition will be extended to the Port of Portimão, through a mini-stand with live demonstrations by artisans, who will welcome around 11 passengers on May 450th. aboard the ship “Seabourn Sojourn”, and on the 15th to the 710 passengers transported by the ship “Adonia”.
The Portimão Tourist Office is located at nº 10 of Rua 5 de Outubro, operating from springtime from Monday to Saturday from 9:30 am to 19:00 pm, and is closed on Sunday.
