The final of the National Championship of the 1st Division of Water Polo, which will put the Algarvian team from Portinado and the northern team from Salgueiros, face to face, will be played on May 12th and 13th, at the Loulé Municipal Swimming Pools.
Portinado's team from Portinado will thus try to reach its third consecutive title of national champion. Despite being a team based in Portimão, the lack of conditions at the local pool forces them to play the final away from home.
The play-off of the final, played in the best of five games, starts next weekend of May 5th and 6th, at Salgueiros' home, in Porto.
The third and eventual fourth game (this will only be played if there is a need for a tiebreaker between the two finalists) are scheduled for the Loulé Pools, at 15:00 pm on Saturday, May 12, and at the same time on Sunday, if necessary.
