The Ocean restaurant, two Michelin stars, at Vila Vita Parc (Porches, Lagoa), receives the third edition of Rota das Estrelas on May 19 and 20, starting at 18:30 pm.

Chef Hans Neuner welcomes Chefs Ricardo Costa, The Yeatman restaurant (Porto), and Benoît Sinthon, Il Galo d'Oro restaurant (Funchal), both distinguished with a star by the famous 'red' guide, for a joint five-course menu .

The amuse-bouche is the responsibility of Chef Dieter Koschina, from the Vila Joya restaurant, two Michelin stars, and the 45th best in the world, according to the famous Restaurant Magazine list.

The menus will be paired with a selection of wines from Ocean's sommelier, Nelson Marreiros.

At the same time, there will be a vertical tasting of Jabu hams, with the presence of a professional cutter and comments from a specialist of the brand, in which various hams of different ages and characteristics will be tasted.

One of the highlights of the day will be the commented caviar tasting, paired with Ruinart champagne. The tasting includes a commented tasting of various caviars from different sources: river, semi-culture, culture, Chinese and wild Beluga from Iran, House of Caviar, the best and most expensive caviar in the world.

A Route of the Stars is an itinerant gastronomic event, which takes place throughout the year, in the various Portuguese restaurants distinguished by the Michelin Guide. In turn, each Chef / restaurant is the host of other starred Chefs, invited to a gastronomic joint venture, by several hands.

The Ocean restaurant, in Vacation Specials, in the Algarve, received the second Michelin star in November 2011, just two years after receiving the first, and has been led by Austrian Chef Hans Neuner since it opened in 2007.

Ocean's gastronomic concept is based on the quality and seasonality of the product, whose origin is mostly regional and national. Fish and seafood from the Atlantic coast and the Ria Formosa are a special highlight in the cuisine of Chef Hans Neuner, who explores their flavors and textures in various dishes on the Ocean menus.
