The second stage of the Portuguese Cup of Marathons (XCM) Sport Zone, to be held in Alte, next Sunday, shares attention with the National Championship of BMX Race, which will take place on Saturday, in Palmela.
The Alte Marathon will have a route of 83 kilometers, starting at 10:00 am, at the Escola Profissional de Alte, with the arrival scheduled for Fonte Grande. Disabled runners will travel 48 kilometers.
About 450 competition federated members are registered, who will join the crowd that usually demands Alte just for socializing and for playful and leisure participation. In total, around XNUMX Bettistas are expected.
The National BMX Race Championship takes place from 16 pm on Saturday, at the Forninho track, in Palmela. After last weekend, having hosted a stage of the Portuguese Cup, the infrastructure of Palma will now be the stage for the delivery of the titles of national champion.
Regional championships are also following at a good pace. On Sunday, at 10 am, the 30st XCO Terras de Anégia will take place, the second event of the AC Porto Vitalis XCO Cup.
On the same day, the Sintra BTT Trophy starts, next to the Sintrense Stadium. Also on Sunday, the fourth scoring event for the XCO Zon Azores Cup takes place in the Azores.
On the road, the vicinity of the Parish Council of Charneca da Caparica, receive the 2nd Youth Prize of Charneca da Caparica, joining the categories of schools, male and female cadets, and juniors, from 10:00 am.
