The Tour of the Municipality of Almodôvar for the Masters level is scheduled for this weekend, on the 24th and 25th of March, marking the return of the competition that is most talked about in the country in its category and that brings with it a authentic legion of fans.
Starting at 15:00 on Saturday, the first stage of the race promises not to make life easier for runners, with three mountain prizes and three mobile goals in a length of 90,6km that cross several parishes in the municipality. For the second day of the event, there are two more stages with an equally high level of difficulty, a Chrono-Climbing of 3,4km at 10:00 am and a Circuit Stage with 45km at 16:00 pm.
As in previous editions, dozens of athletes from various national and foreign teams and thousands of visitors are expected in this V edition of the Tour, attesting to the importance of the competition at national and international level. The home team, Peçamodovar/Casa do Benfica in Almodôvar, once again marks its presence in the competition, with the mission to continue the path of good results achieved in previous editions.
