Coordination meeting with the National Civil Protection Authority and Municipal Services took place in Loulé

The bimonthly ordinary coordination meeting between the District Command for Relief Operations – National Civil Protection Authority and the Municipal Civil Protection Services of the Algarve took place on January 5th, in Loulé, in the Municipal Assembly room.

The opening session was held by the mayor of Loulé Seruca Emidio, and by the District Operational Commander Abel Gomes. The work was accompanied by councilor Brígida Cavaco, with powers delegated from the municipal civil protection area.

There was also a presentation of the Municipal Civil Protection Service of Loulé, by the coordinator of this service, João Matos Lima, regarding its structure and organization, namely the work developed in the areas of planning and operations, prevention, security and public information .

The meeting ended with a visit to the premises of the Municipal Civil Protection Service of Loulé.

The main objective of these meetings is to articulate, in a transversal manner, matters relating to the various municipalities in the district in the context of Civil Protection, standardize procedures, share good practices and knowledge of action and receive the guidelines issued by the ANPC.
