On December 18, at 16:30 pm, the Church of S. Pedro do Mar, in Quarteira, receives another show as part of the Orquestra do Algarve's Christmas Concerts Cycle.
Songs by composers Anton Webern will be performed (Slow movement in E-flat major for String Quartet) and Beethoven (Symphony nº3 in E-flat major, Op. 55 “eroica”).
The musical direction will be in charge of Maestro Sérgio Alapont. He is artistic director of the Benicàssim Opera Festival and Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Manuel de Falla Orchestra and JOSC Orchestra. Alapont has regularly directed orchestras, participated in several festivals and directed the most emblematic operas.
