Portugal, in particular the Algarve, has a great diversity of butterflies and dragonflies. In addition to being good environmental indicators of the quality of natural spaces, namely streams, they can be an interesting attraction for visits in the context of ecotourism.

Fonte da Benémola, in the interior of the municipality of Loulé, is one of the most interesting places in this chapter, featuring dozens of different species, some quite rare.

This Tuesday, November 8, at 15 pm, Nuno de Santos Loureiro, professor and researcher at the University of Algarve, and Nelson Fonseca, landscape architect and naturalist in the Algarve will go to Querença, at the Manuel Viegas Guerreiro Foundation, to talk about this biodiversity Special.
