The Bishop of Algarve will carry out, from November 13th to December 4th, a pastoral visit to the parishes of São Luís, São Pedro, Nossa Senhora da Assunção (Sé) and Nossa Senhora de Fátima do Montenegro, in Faro.

For three weeks, D. Manuel Neto Quintas will contact all Catholics in the Episcopal city, visit the sick and celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Unction with them, visit the prison in Faro and various social solidarity institutions such as the Casa de Santa Isabel, the Casa dos Meninos, the Santa Casa da Misericórdia, the nursery of the Ordem do Carmo, the Casa de Protección à Rapariga, the Casa de Santa Zita, the ATL of the Parish of São Luís, the Nursery and the Social Refectory of Cáritas in Faro and also the Colégio do Alto.

In addition, the diocesan Bishop will hold working meetings with the Parish Economic Councils, with all pastoral agents in Faro, namely catechists, liturgical animators and servants of social solidarity.

The Bishop of Algarve, in addition to visiting and celebrating the Eucharist in all parish churches, will also visit peripheral Christian communities such as Patacão, Areal Gordo, Gambelas, Santo António do Alto and Bom João and also to the Third Orders of San Francisco and Carmo.

It will also meet with young people, scouts and university students, families and children from parish catechesis and with all the Apostolic Movements in the city.

The Pastoral Visit of the Bishop of Algarve to the Parishes of Faro it will conclude with an inter-parish Eucharist, followed by a meeting between the city's parish communities, which will take place in the wide spaces of the Church of São Luís at 11 am on Sunday, December 4th.
