The two ATM machines in the Continente de Silves hypermarket were stolen this morning, with the help of a backhoe stolen from the City Hall warehouses, which are located about 300 meters away.
The robbers, who acted around 4:00 am, destroyed an extensive part of the front of the hypermarket, as shown in the photo, leaving the used backhoe machine in place.
This morning too, when the Sul Informação he found that the petrol stations in Pêra, along the EN125, also in the municipality of Silves, were robbed. Authorities are now investigating whether they are the same assailants.
