The Municipality of Aljezur has already signed, with the company José de Sousa Barra e Filhos Lda, the consignment document for the repaving work on the ER 267 road, in the section between Aljezur and the limit of the municipality, in Marmelete.
According to the local authority, this is a work «reclaimed and necessary for a long time, structuring from the point of view of improving the conditions of accessibility, circulation and safety, as well as regarding the importance of the conditions of inter-regional connection (highland axis) ».
The contract, which starts next week, has a total award value of 1.364.092,84 euros and "assumes the greatest importance for the Municipality of Aljezur".
This repaving will be carried out with a leveling layer and a bituminous mat wear layer, repairing and repairing existing pathologies, over a length of 6,688 kilometers, with the entire longitudinal route being maintained.
The investment was subject to an application to community funds, within the scope of PO Algarve 21, in an FEDER financial contribution, corresponding to 50% of the investment.
