For two weeks, the Catholics of the Algarve will carry out “an intense chain of prayer and adoration before the Holy Eucharist”, which will travel through all the parishes of the Diocese, to ask for priestly vocations.

The initiative will start on Saturday, October 29th, at 21 pm, in the Parish Church of São Clemente de Loulé and will continue in the following days, passing through each of the 00 parishes in the Algarve, until the end that will culminate in the Parish of Vila Real de Santo António, at 21 pm on November 00th.

Thus, during these two weeks, night and day, stresses the Diocese of Algarve, «the Holy Eucharist will be uninterrupted and solemnly exposed to the adoration of the Algarve faithful, alternately in each of the Christian communities of the Algarve, in a chain of prayer for the priests and for the priestly vocations”.

This Lausperene will coincide with the Seminar Week, which takes place every year at the beginning of November.
