The Mega Walk for the Heart is back in the municipality and promises to bring together hundreds of participants in the streets of Albufeira. Alerting the population to the benefits of physical exercise and the adoption of healthy lifestyles are the main goals.
Next Sunday, 25th of September, the municipality of Albufeira will carry out a mega walk through the streets of the city, as part of the celebrations of the World Heart Day.
Aware that heart disease and stroke are the main causes of death worldwide, the City Council seeks to promote the adoption of healthy lifestyles and instill in the population a taste for physical exercise.
The walk will start at 9:30 am, at Largo dos Paços do Município, and will end at Praça dos Pescadores, where other sporting activities will take place.
From 14 pm onwards, lovers of Footvolley and Beach Volleyball have the opportunity to participate in the respective tournaments, on the sandy beach of Praia dos Pescadores. Entries are made on site.
