Samuel Caldeira was once again the highest ranked cyclist in the Algarve in the Volta à Bulgaria, finishing the 5th stage, played yesterday, in 7th place, 1 minute and 2 seconds behind the winner Dmitriy Kosyakov (Itera Katusha). 

Ricardo Mestre, also from Tavira/Prio, came soon after, in 12th place, with the same time as his teammate. Luís Silva and André Cardoso cut the finishing risk also with 1 minute and 2 seconds of difference to the winner, in this 152 km stage between the cities of Dobrich and Nessebar.

The Tour to Bulgaria continues and today it is the turn of the sixth stage to hit the road. There are 144 kilometers that will be drawn between Karnobat and Kazanluk. 

In the overall table, Ricardo Mestre occupies the 18th position, and maintains the difference of 2 minutes and 3 seconds to the leader Martin Grashev (Nessebar). André Cardoso, in 19th position, has the same difference.
