Trail running athlete Liliana Rodrigues will receive support of one thousand euros from Vila do Bispo City Council to participate in sporting events throughout the year 2024, under a sponsorship protocol signed today, April 1st.
Under the agreement, the athlete "is obliged to insert the municipality's logo or other promotional elements in the equipment used during the competitions, in publicity actions on the internet and in communication with the media, as well as, making reference to the sponsorship of the Municipal Council, thus contributing to the promotion of the municipality», according to the Chamber.
For the municipality, «this measure represents the continuity of support for the municipality's athletes, which aims to encourage the achievement of important results in various modalities and simultaneously encourage the practice of sports».
