A walk with garbage collection is coming to make the “Ria More Formosa”

As part of the 4th edition of Plogging Challenge Portugal

“Ria Mais Formosa” is the name of the initiative created by the Gea Project – Σχέδιο Γης, which consists of organizing a walk with garbage collection, on the 28th of April. 

The initiative will take place in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, more specifically on the beaten road that gives access to the Ramalhete research station, at the University of Algarve.

«The objective is to collect trash along the way while traveling a distance of around 5 kilometers», explains the organization.

Registration for this action, which starts at 9:30 am, can be done through of this form.

Anyone who wants to participate should bring comfortable shoes and clothing and water.

The Gea Project – Σχέδιο Γης is one of the regional organizers of the event, which has registrations across the country and is coordinated at national level by Plogging Santa Maria da Feira.
