Academic tunas from various parts of the country will head to Portimão on the 5th and 6th of April to participate in another edition of Enportunas – Encontro de Tunas Académicas.
The initiative will feature IsmaTuna – Tuna Mista from the Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes (Portimão), Xelb Tuna – Tuna Mista from the Escola Superior de Saúde Jean Piaget Algarve (Silves), In Versus – Group of Fados and Guitars from Coimbra da University of Algarve (Faro), the Nautituna – Tuna Mista from the Escola Superior Náutica Infante D. Henrique (Oeiras), the Tuna Iscalina – Tuna Mista from the Instituto Superior de Administração e Contabilidade de Lisboa, the ESSATuna – Tuna Mista from the Escola Superior de Saúde de Alcoitão (Cascais) and ActuaTuna – ISPA University Tuna (Alfama).
This initiative, with free access, starts at 21pm on April 00th, a Friday, at Largo 5º de Maio, in front of the Paços do Concelho building with serenades by the participating tunas.
The 6th of April will begin with a street rally, which will run through the historic center of Portimão between 14:30 pm and 17:30 pm, ending the program at the Portimão Arena, where the Academic Tunas Meeting will take place, starting at 21 pm.
Nautituna, Tuna Iscalina, ESSATuna, ActuaTuna and TunaBebes – Tuna Mista from the Portimão Campus of the University of Algarve, host of this Enportunas, will also participate in this show, with the participation of the Portimão Music Academy.
