The Municipality of Tavira will host a wine tasting and guided tour of the exhibition “Mediterranean Diet-Millennial Cultural Heritage”, as part of the Spring Exhibition, which will take place between the 25th and 28th of April, at the Municipal Museum of Tavira – Palácio from the Gallery.
On Saturday, 27th, at 14:30 pm, a guided tour of the exhibition will take place, which will be followed by a tasting of Algarve wines, where participants will have the opportunity to explore the different flavors and varieties of grapes and wines from the region.
The experience will be led by Corinne Romeira (senior technician at the Municipal Museum of Tavira) and Vasco Martins (responsible for Food & Beverage).
Participation in the activity is free and has a limited number of participants, and interested parties must register here
According to the municipality, the workshop is part of the “Valorize – Support line for sustainability” program and in the Municipality’s candidacy with the project: “Tavira with the Mediterranean Diet – A sustainable tourist destination”, which includes a set of activities that highlight the customs and traditions of the Mediterranean Diet, including
crafts, folklore and gastronomy.
