Sugarcane and palm construction workshops will take place throughout the month of April in Tavira. According to the Tavira Municipal Museum, which organizes the workshops, these are «craft practices with a strong tradition in the region, combining techniques and natural materials to create unique pieces».

Thus, the “Casa do Artesão”, headquarters of ASTA – Associação de Artes e Sabores de Tavira, hosts the long-term sugarcane contracting workshop, which will take place on the 6th (morning and afternoon) and 13th April (morning), during three sessions, offering participants the opportunity to learn from artisan Isabel Noy.

Vale de Murta will be the setting for the long-term palm contract workshop, consisting of four sessions, promoted by Associação Em Contacto Tavira – Lado a Lado project, on the 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th of April, from 14pm to 00:17.
