Tertúlia Farense goes to São Brás de Alportel to debate how museology can transform society

Emanuel Sancho is the guest at the March meeting of this informal group of citizens of Faro

Tertúlia Farense will gather around the table again on March 21st, for a debate on “Social Museology as an instrument for transforming society”, inspired by an intervention by Emanuel Sancho, director of the São Brás Costume Museum de Alportel, who is the special guest of the night.

The initiative begins at 18:30 pm, with a guided visit to the São Brás de Alportel Costume Museum, followed by dinner at Adega Nunes, on the Machados site.

At 21:30 pm, Emanuel Sancho, who in 2021 was awarded the Museologist of the Year award from the Portuguese Association of Museology (APOM), will present the topic, followed by the usual debate.

Registration is open to interested parties until Monday at: [email protected].
