Portimonense loses to Estoril and has already gone 7 games without winning

Portimonense lost to Estoril 1-0 in the 26th round of the I League, played this Friday, March 15, at the Amoreira Stadium. The Algarve team are in a position to qualify for the maintenance play-off and have already gone seven games without winning.

In the opening game of the round, the 'Canarinhos' interrupted a run of five games without winning in the championship, thanks to a goal from Cassiano (53 minutes), moving up to 13th place, with 25 points.

Without winning in seven games and without scoring in four, Portimonense remains on 23 points, and has fallen to 16th place, with access to the maintenance play-off.

In the next round, the Algarve hosts Sporting de Braga.
