Livre is, after Chega, the fastest growing party in Sunday's legislative elections, multiplying by four the only mandate obtained by its leader, Rui Tavares, in 2022.

The party led by Rui Tavares elected in Porto (3,35%) and Setúbal (4,29%) and a second deputy for Lisbon (5,47%, above BE and CDU), the three constituencies where it obtained the best percentage results at national level.

The fourth most voted party, with eight elected, was the Liberal Initiative (IL), which also achieved its maximum in the capital (6,58%), also obtaining good results in Braga (6,1%) and Porto (5,74 .XNUMX%).

BE (fifth nationally) has its best result in Setúbal – where it elects a deputy and is the fifth most voted force – with 6%, followed by Faro (5,75%) and Lisbon (4,96%).

In Beja, the CDU has 15,03%, a very high percentage but insufficient to elect one of the three mandates that the circle has, places that were left for PS, AD and Chega.

The PAN has its best result in Faro, with 2,58% and in Setúbal (2,56%), two districts where he failed to obtain any mandate, above Lisbon (2,49%), where he won his only seat in parliament.

Among the parties that did not elect deputies to the Assembly of the Republic, the National Democratic Alternative (ADN) is the one that is growing the most, going from 9.895 votes (0,18%) in 2022 to 99.475 (1,63%).

In an analysis by district, it is in Viseu that ADN has its best result, with 3,13% and 6.615 votes, positioning itself as the fourth most voted force, behind AD, PS and Chega. In Vila Real, it is also the fourth party, with 2,53%.

Also noteworthy is Juntos Pelo Povo (JPP), which obtained 9,58% of the votes in Madeira (where it leads the municipality of Santa Cruz), placing itself as the fourth most voted force and close to electing a deputy.

Two years ago, the PSD only won a victory in Madeira, while the rest of the constituencies were won by the socialists.

In the national territory, CDS and PSD obtained 79 mandates, against 77 for the PS (28,66%), followed by Chega with 48 elected representatives (18,06%), which quadrupled its parliamentary bench. IL, BE and PAN maintained their mandates, eight, five and one respectively. Livre went from one to four elected representatives while the CDU lost two seats, from six to four mandates.

The four emigration seats that the PS won in 2022, with three mandates, remain to be determined.
