Legionella detected at EB 2,3 Duarte Pacheco School in Loulé

The changing rooms will only be reopened “after the network has been disinfected and the respective authorization has been obtained from the health authorities.”

The changing rooms at Escola EB 2,3 Duarte Pacheco, in Loulé, were closed this Friday, March 22, after a laboratory analysis detected the presence of Legionella in the water network.

In a statement, Carlos Fernandes, director of the Group, explains that the analyzes were collected on March 13th.

The changing rooms will only be reopened “after the network has been disinfected and the respective authorization has been obtained from the health authorities”.
