EMARP exhibits “Portraits”

The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday

The exhibition “Retratos”, by José Reis, is on display until April 5th, at EMARP – Empresa Municipal de Águas e Residuos de Portimão.

Using lithophany and carving, José Reis brings to life portraits of personalities that inspire him.

Born in Monchique, he spent much of his life in the Canaries. With training and professional experience in the areas of electronics and information technology, he has been developing research work on lithophany and carving 2019 since.

Essentially using PVC as a raw material and the CNC engraving technique, it transforms portraits into vivid and expressive images.

The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday, between 8:30 am and 17:00 pm, in the EMARP public service area.
