Chega elected two of four deputies from the emigration circle, several national media outlets are moving forward. The other two mandates will be divided by the PSD and PS, which each guarantee one deputy. The still president of the Assembly of the Republic, Augusto Santos Silva, remains outside Parliament.

At a time when all that remains is to count the votes from two consulates, what was foreseen since yesterday is already true: Chega manages to elect two deputies, one from the Europe circle and the other from the Outside of Europe circle. PS wins the other deputy from the European circle and AD wins the one elected by emigrants in countries outside the European continent.

Thus, across Europe, the party with the most votes was Chega, which elected Nathalie Oliveira. Second place goes to the socialists, who elect deputy Paulo Pisco.

In the Outside of Europe circle, the AD won, electing the former Secretary of State for Communities José Cesário. In second place was Chega, who elected Manuel Alves. Augusto Santos Silva, the current president of the AR, head of the PS list for this circle and who was involved in several episodes of friction with Chega, in the legislature that is ending, is thus left out of Parliament.

In this way, it is confirmed that the AD guaranteed the majority, meaning Luís Montenegro's appointment should happen at any time.
